The main components of the 3FT. Simmons hydraulic cone crusher
The three-foot Simmons hydraulic cone crusher is mainly composed of a moving cone, a fixed cone, an eccentric shaft, an adjustment ring, a hydraulic system, a transmission system, a frame, etc. Among them, the moving cone and the fixed cone make periodic swing motions through the eccentric shaft to form a crushing chamber. After the material enters, it is impacted, squeezed, and ground to be crushed. The hydraulic system controls the adjustment ring to adjust the discharge port to achieve the regulation and protection of the crusher.
1. Moving cone and fixed cone:
The moving cone and fixed cone are the core components of the crushing chamber, and the interaction between them is the core of crushing. The moving cone is driven by the eccentric shaft to perform a swinging motion, and is sometimes separated from and sometimes in contact with the fixed cone, producing a crushing effect.
2. Eccentric shaft:
The eccentric shaft is the key to driving the moving cone to perform a swinging motion. It converts power into the movement of the moving cone through the transmission system, thereby achieving crushing.
3. Adjustment ring:
The adjustment ring is responsible for adjusting the gap of the crushing chamber, thereby controlling the size of the discharge port and the crushed particle size.
4. Hydraulic system:
The hydraulic system controls the movement of the adjustment ring to achieve discharge port adjustment and crusher protection. For example, in the event of iron or car jamming, the hydraulic system can lift the support sleeve and the fixed cone part to discharge foreign matter and reduce the maintenance rate.
5. Transmission system:
The transmission system is responsible for transmitting power to the eccentric shaft, thereby driving the moving cone to perform a swinging motion to achieve the crushing process.
6. Frame:
The frame is the main supporting structure of the whole machine. It connects the various parts of the crusher and provides solid support.
